Vineland – City Council agreed Tuesday to pursue a partnership for a new redevelopment project and help another partner struggling to keep an existing project open. The council unanimously introduced an ordinance that would name a limited liability company that represents the Bottino family, B&B Properties of Vineland LLC, as the redeveloper for the former U-Pull-It site. The family wants to break ground this summer on a new 87,000-square-foot ShopRite store at the former auto salvage yard on West Landis Avenue.
Also on Tuesday, the council barely passed a resolution that enables the Landis Theater Foundation board of directors to draw $200,000 from a $500,000 line of credit the council approved for the struggling theater in September.
