It’s less than nine years old, but the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is already freshening itself up to try to stay ahead of the cutthroat casino market in Atlantic City and the northeast. The casino is a little more than halfway done with a $50 million renovation of more than 1,500 hotel rooms. The project should be completed by July.
The makeover affects 1,566 rooms, and the corridors leading to them. Each room comes with a 46-inch flat screen LED television set, a walk-in shower (big enough for two), and wireless Internet service.
