The SNJDC Business Development Committee held its final meeting of the year that featured three detailed presentations from new member organizations, each highlighting their role in supporting regional development and industry growth across South Jersey. Co-chairs Kim Schieber, radius180 and John Kanarr, Conner Strong & Buckelew opened the session and guided the discussion, noting the continued value of connecting members whose services directly support the region’s growth.
Mark Onimus, Territory Sales Manager at Victaulic provided a brief overview of the company and its flame-free pipe-joining technology, noting its sustainability benefits and engineering support services. He also highlighted several ongoing South Jersey projects utilizing Victaulic products.
Brandon Fishbaum, Workforce Development and Community Affairs Manager with Carpenters Contractor Trust followed by summarizing the organization’s regional workforce development and outreach efforts, including apprenticeship promotion, contractor support programs, and visibility initiatives aimed at strengthening union market share.
Closing out the presentations, David Cranston Managing Partner at Vivid Project Management i introduced his firm’s owner-representation and capital project management services, emphasizing Vivid’s work with institutional clients and its growing portfolio in South Jersey, particularly within the healthcare sector.
The meeting concluded with committee and organizational updates, as well as recognition by co-chairs of the strong alignment between the presenters’ work and the council’s mission to support regional economic development.
